Chosen for Glory: Standing Firm in the Truth

Aug 18, 2024    John Holmes

Genuinely saved believers will bear the fruit of a transformed life. Do you? After describing the “End Times” and the condemnation of the wicked, Paul shifts to reassure the Thessalonians. He offers thanks to God for them and reminds the church how they were set apart and in an entirely different category than those condemned. They embraced the truth, were chosen and loved by God, and were called to share in His glory. Paul urged them to cling to the apostle’s teachings and not be unsettled by false reports. Paul prays for their strength in all things, great and small.[1]
