Lawsuits and Lordship: Living Like We Belong to the Kingdom

Christians are saints of God. As people who have been washed, sanctified, and justified by Christ, we must reflect that identity by resolving conflicts with humility, rejecting unrighteousness, and living as those who belong to God’s Kingdom. Our church community life should reflect that identity. When believers divide and turn to secular courts to handle their disputes, they undermine who they are in Christ. As heirs of God’s kingdom, Christians should live in a way that demonstrates their status—showing selfless love for one another and using the wisdom God has given them to resolve conflicts in a godly, Spirit-led way.
