God Gave Mothers-- And He is Greater Still

Christians should joyfully celebrate godly, faithful mothers, give heartfelt thanks to God for them, but also honestly acknowledge that some people had hurtful, absent, or ungodly mothers—and in those painful gaps, God Himself is our hope, healer, and redeemer. God’s covenant love for His people is deeper than even a mother’s love—and that love is now ours in Christ. Even when human love fails—even should the love of a mother break down—God’s love remains constant, covenantal, and engraved into eternity.
